Hope the Bear (Helps Other People Everyday) will be visiting the nursing home about once a week. She will be passing out handmade cards to those residents that have had a bad week or who have no company. She will also attend the monthly birthday parties and the holiday parties. She plans on giving out goodies at these parties.

and her daughter Becky made Hope's costume. Today, September 29, 2011, Michael and I drove to the Dulles Expo Center to first meet Gi-Gi and Becky and second to pick up the costume. These two ladies are the kindest ladies with the biggest hearts. They were exhibitors at the quilt show and they were really drawing in the customers with their personality.
